Connecting The Coast — The VRV Super City Liner Service

Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, February 09, 2013; A Gravity 2.0 round table was conducted at the Visakhapatnam Container Terminal Private Limited. The round table was focused on promoting coastal and inland shipping as an energy efficient, environmentally friendly mode of transport along the coast.

Speaking on the occassion, Prof. Rajan Iyer of MIT Institute of Design used a mind-mapping method to project a few key activities to promote coastal shipping for spreading prosperity in the VRV Super City.

Captain Sriram Ravi Chander of VCTPL made a presentation on how for millenia successful investment into shipping and integrated port development was closely tied to the prosperity of India.
