Jayesh Ranjan

Jayesh Ranjan is a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of the 1992 batch and working in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Delhi University, a degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Masters in Public Management from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He has also done short courses in the University of Birmingham (on Environmental Policy Analysis), London School of Economics (on Globalization and Leadership), and Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (in Public Policy). He is the All-India topper of his IAS batch of 1992. He was awarded World Bank's Social Capital Visiting Scholarship in 2002 and the British Government's Gurukul Chevening Scholarship in 2005. He has done international consultancy assignments for the World Bank and UN-ESCAP, and international NGOs working for Youth Issues like YES, Inc of the USA and NMC from Italy.

Jayesh Ranjan is the Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC). APIIC works towards identifying industrial development opportunities in the state, attracting investments, and providing the required infrastructure support to the industrial units. His previous assignments have been in the Tourism Department of the state government as its Secretary, and in Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) as Vice Chairman, both for 3 years each, and various rural assignments in different parts of the state for over 12 years, working in diverse sectors like Tribal Development, Natural Resources management, Poverty Alleviation and other related Social Development Sectors.

Dr. Rao Tatavarti

Dr. Rao Tatavarti is a Senior Professor and Director in the field of Engineering Research & Consultancy, working in GVP College of Engineering. He is also the Regional Director of National Maritime Foundation, India for Vizag Chapter - A Think Tank for Advancing India's Maritime Interests. Currently working on Design and Development of cutting-edge technologies with Aerospace and Oceanic applications in Defence/Civilian Sectors. He holds a masters degree from IIT madras and did his phd from Dalhousie University, Canada. He has 30 + years R&D experience at various institutes in India, Asia, North America, Europe and Russia.
